Micah Rees, Ph.D., LP
Dr. Micah Rees works with a wide range of psychological diagnoses and common life challenges, helping clients better understand the blind spots and barriers that may be hindering their progress. One of his primary goals in therapy is to empower clients to take control of their lives and live with greater confidence and purpose.

Dr. Rees also specializes in assisting individuals facing existential crises. Although often overlooked, existential anxiety can arise unexpectedly or follow significant life events such as divorce, the death of a loved one, strained relationships, major career setbacks, or shifts in religious beliefs. He is particularly experienced in supporting those dealing with trauma, sexual abuse, and controlling or abusive relationships.

As a clinician, Dr. Rees views his clients as developing individuals rather than defective ones. He fosters genuine relationships with them and aims to understand their experiences rather than merely interpreting them. He is always mindful of the impacts of power, privilege, and inequality in his work, striving to create a safe environment essential for successful therapy.
